When Hana gets fired, she doesn't expect to take a job at a mystery office the same day. Nor does she expect Kenta, her incredibly stoic boss who treats life like a spreadsheet and seems physically incapable of relaxing.
Hana tries to figure out what is behind that robotic calm of his with her brightness as well as what her job even is. As the two begin awkward routines of work and movie nights, they slowly grow to trust one another more than anyone else.
Amidst trials and tribulations (like Kenta's father trying to get them married asap), can Hana and Kenta heal inner scars and allow themselves to love?
